I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and was feeling aches and pains due to the deterioration of my joints. My doctor told me there was no cure and advised me to read all that I could on arthritis and prescribing me an anti-inflammatory medication to ease the pain.
Most of the arthritis information I had read suggested yoga to alleviate joint pain. After doing a one week trial of Bikram’s yoga, I was hooked! I had less arthritis pain and decided to join Bikram’s Hot Yoga.
Would like to tell people who are hesitant:
Nothing to be afraid of!
Other changes:
After 2 months of practice, one of my instructors commented that I was looking slimmer and younger, although I question the “younger look”. I confirmed the slimmer part when I hopped on my scale that evening. Sure enough, I was 10 pounds lighter!
